چکیده

Sir,?The present diet of the Tamils is not what is prescribed in their Ancient Medical Texts. These texts are written by Saints like Thiruvalluvar, Thirumular, Agastiar, etc., who are generally known as ' Siddar' in Tamil. Owing to foreign influence and influx of time, their diet has undergone several changes all for the worse. In this letter I don't propose to give you the full details of the ancient plan but two of its essential points which I think, would improve our health, if adopted. May I know your esteemed opinion and those of your readers ?
